CMS organized an awareness session for staff on “Internet Safety for kids and teens” on 22nd of March 2018. It was a very useful session conducted by Mr. Buddhika De Alwis – Director of Trustvault (Pvt) Limited & Mr. Christopher Stewart – Director of Trustvault (Pvt) Limited.
Objective of this session was to increase awareness of the benefits and risks involved with children using the Internet through the following topics:
- What do your children do online?
- Safety and security issues
- What could you do to protect our kids online
- Modes of Communication such as Instant Messaging, Chat Rooms and E-mailing
- Illegal Use of the Internet and online privacy
- Rules for Safe Use of the Internet
- Safeguarding Children and tools to be used
