The CMS community cares about people! On 01-July-2017 they helped put a smile on the faces of 96 children studying at Dimiyawa Maha Vidyalaya, Ratnapura. The post-flood assistance organized through the Department of Social Services included supplementary study material and much needed school stationery. Students in Grade 4 and upwards received stationery packs while supplementary reading material based on the national curriculum was contributed to the School Main Library and the Class Libraries. We were happy to help the children build up their class libraries that were totally washed away. Our sincere wishes are with these children as they go forward with their education – picking up the pieces and moving on with their lives after the floods!
